Book Your Campsite
Please read the information below before making your booking.
Rates
Our regular rates are R1350 per campsite per night for up to 8 people (seven years and older).
Any additional people are charged at a rate of R150 per person per night.
Children under seven years stay for free
Children under seven years old stay free and must not be included when entering the number of people for your booking.
They should, however, be taken into consideration when determining your total group count since each campsite can accommodate a maximum of 20 people.
Check-in and Check-out Times
Check-in times: Arrive anytime after 2pm.
Check-out times:
Monday through Saturday – leave by 10am.
Sundays – Linger a little longer, fire up that lunchtime braai, and only leave by 5pm.
No Check-ins on Sundays
Since we allow campers who check-out on Sundays to stay till 5pm, we can’t accept any bookings that start on a Sunday.
Pets
You are welcome to bring your dog (or other pet) as long it is not aggressive and will not attempt to hunt the resident otters or any other wildlife at our campsites.
Your dog is not permitted to roam around freely and must be kept at your booked campsite at all times.

Booking your campsite is quick and secure. Online payment is done through PayFast.

Follow These Steps to Make Your Booking
- Select the dates of the first and last night of your stay. Red blocks mean both campsites are already booked. Red triangles show check-in or check-out days of other bookings.
- Select the number of campsites you require. One is enough for up to 20 people. For larger groups or full River Camp exclusivity, select two.
- Click Search to view campsite availability. If only one campsite is available, only it will be shown. If you’ve selected two campsites, but only one is available, your whole group will be added to that site (if 20 or fewer people).
- Click on Select this campsite and Next. If your preferred site doesn’t show, or you need two but only one appears, click Change search to try other dates.
- Enter your details. Review your booking summary and accept the terms.
- Click Book Now to pay securely via PayFast. Your booking only becomes valid once payment is complete.
- Check your inbox for a confirmation email with all your booking details.
We're upgrading our campsite
Our campsite is closed for guests from 1 June until 31 August 2025. We’re busy upgrading our ablutions to give you an even better camping experience.
You are welcome to make a booking for any available dates from 1 September 2025 onwards!

Please note that we’re not accepting any bookings until this notice is removed. No bookings made while this ‘Don’t book yet’ notice is visible will be valid.
